Should I take the Web Design or Graphic Design program at school?

I want to be a web designer and build web pages, among them using flash media and all that stuff. But should I stick with web design itself or graphic design? I’m planning on going for my Associate’s Degree In Web Design, so it’d be important if I can get some info from people who have knowledge on this profession and if you can, please try to make the advice as positive as possible

You can do more in graphic design. Web is in the area of graphic communications. From graphic design you have web and print. I’m working towards a BFA in graphic design and I’m strong in web and print.
